Spray Paint
Spray Paint is a band from Austin, Texas. This is their MP3 discography of 2013/12. This includes, all four records put out by S.S. and one live cassette by Monofonus. Their style is heavy in WIRE worship but doesn't mind to dive into FALL territory with glimpses of MAYYORS.

Knit Witch - Witchycraft
Witchycraft is pump-up music for passing the bottle around the backseat on the way to a bonfire. Or head-butting music for teeth-grinders. If your rock needs polish, professionalism, and orchestral instrumentation, Knit Witch won’t work for you. Knit Witch will also sneer at you and kick your ass. It’s for your own good. Don’t ignore something so fun in the future.
Track 4 is a Sonic Youth cover.
CS20 released in 2006 on Woodsist's sister tape label; FUCK IT TAPES

Natural Snow Buildings - The Wheel Of Sharp Daggers
there's not much more that can be said about french duo natural snow buildings, so i'll keep this short & sweet. "the wheel of sharp daggers" continues their journey through improvised ruins of ancient lands. epic soundscapes create craters in the scorched earth. mountains of guitars, booming percussion, and god only knows what else take you into their vividly-colored world and wrap you in the sonic warmth. it doesn't get much better. limited to 135 handnumbered copies with full-color covers and handpainted inserts.

The Dead C - Repent
The six tracks on Repent are taken from live recordings made during a 1996 New Zealand tour. This makes for an interesting break from the rather studio-bound noise experiments of the Dead C's previous releases. In a "real" context, the band constructs massive instrumentals which build momentum from their noise, with all of the drone, Krautrock, and Wall of Sound tones that this implies. The key to Repent's efficacy is the human presence behind it; rather than interpreting studio manipulations, one actually hears the band creating its noisy tones, and this lends the work the same realism that, to a lesser extent, marks Tusk.
CD only release that incorporated photocopied covers pasted on left over digi-packs from the band's White House release.

Sex Church - 6 Songs
Sex Church is a band from Vancouver, Canada. Their music is inspired by depression, frustration, disappointment and other such inner turmoils that are the sources of great works of art. Like bands such as The Wipers and Cheater Slicks, Sex Church takes that gloom and doom and spews it out in a punk and garage blueprint mixed with some hard driving krautrock repetitiveness as well as melodic shoegaze elements, and turn something ugly into something beautiful. 6 Songs by Sex Church, their debut full length LP, shows the world what this band is truly capable of featuring moody numbers like “Old Enough,” “I Don’t Wanna Die” and “The Floor,” as well ripping hard driving numbers like “Not Anymore,” “Ghost” and “Mistaken.” A perfect follow up to their single on Sweet Rot Records and a perfect record for fans of bummer rock n drone.

The Dead C - DR503
"While the Dead C are generally considered to be a 'noise rock band', to many THEE 'noise rock' band, it's easy to forget that at their heart, they are a pop band. With songs, and verses and choruses and crooned vocals, and strummed acoustic guitars, and all of that stuff. The record veers and careens all over the place, spoken word over splattery percussion and clipped minimal strum, thick doomy dirges of heavily reverbed guitar, gloomy Joy Division basslines, and hushed muttered vocals, skipping phonographs draped over stripped down slowcore, Sebadoh style lo-fi bedroom folk, primitive tape experiments, pounding almost garage-y jams that transform into spare Jandekian sprawls, but all held together by some nearly impossible to define Dead C aesthetic. -aquarius

Karate Party - Black Helicopter 12"
Karate Party was a no-wave rarr trio from Sacramento in the mid late nineties. They released a seven inch record in ninety-seven and an expanded version twelve-inch in ‘05 on SS records (this). They sound like early Devo gets violently electrocuted.
Wolf Eyes & Anthony Braxton - Black Vomit
"So what happens when you take one free jazz pioneer, one band of noise-metal experimentalists and stick them on a stage together? Well Victo have come up with the answer – everyone’s favourite noisy fellers Wolf Eyes and jazz supremo Anthony Braxton teamed up unannounced at the 2005 Victoriaville Festival last year, and since then all I've heard has been whispered words and rumours about the set. There was a cassette tape release shortly after, but selling my mother wasn't an option, so this cd has been a real excitement and a revelation for me and as soon as it landed on my desk I knew I was in for something rather special."
"It’s noise, yes indeed, it’s metal, probably, it’s aggressive, angry and sometimes evil, of course – but it’s also incredibly measured and put together with the utmost skill and understanding. I often tell people that there’s noise and then there's noise, there’s amateurish noise and then there’s this – pure visceral abandonment on every level. And what exactly does Braxton add to the proceedings? Well his soprano sax wails and screams drench the waves of white noise and rousing percussive squelches perfectly – it sounds like they were always supposed to be there, and that’s an achievement in itself." -boomkat
Burning Star Core & Prurient - Ghosts Of Niagara 10xc10
"a series of minimal and careful sniper like compositions surrounding deaths and suicides over the grandfather of natural oblivion.... niagara falls. anyone who has seen the falls has experienced the lure and attraction and deathly power that this hole in the earth conjures. a brewing cauldron of violence, the falls shows us natures power and triggers man's inherent and ubiquitous self destruction." -hospital

TwinSisterMoon - The Hollow Mountain
Wispy solo work of Mehdi Ameziane, one half of French ambient/folk/drone duo Natural Snow Buildings. Right on the money psych-drone.
Original LP pressing of 105 by Dull Knife, sold out instantly.
Twinsistermoon is Mehdi from Natural Snow Buildings, the male counterpart of this beloved French folk/drone duo who's gentle, otherworldly voice often has him confused with a little pixie lady that lives in some spectral forest glade with a battalion of fiercely protective woodland animals.
"This recording errs more towards tender, cracked & psychedelic pagan folk entwined with earthy samples/field recordings than any neo-drone or tonal affair, most probably the stuff folk who are into this mystical Gallic couple are most enamored with anyway. I cannot possibly do this album much justice in words, the sweet, woozy tracks are delicate, quietly meandering & personal affairs that demand your absolute full attention, the lo-fi recording technique used here gives the music such a rich & rustic personality I'm not surprised at the ever growing cult of fanatics their music, whether solo or under the NSB banner, attracts." Norman Review
Natural Snow Buildings - Chants Of Niflheim
The only reason I picked the album to upload is because it's one of their shortest efforts and fits the upload guidelines for mediafire. It's not their best by any means, but it's a good starting point for any non-NSB listener. Their best work is the prestigious 6 hour box set entitled "Daughter of Darkness" which combines their hazy drone elements with cultish noise that invokes demons.
The beginnings of Natural Snow Buildings can be traced back to 1997, at a Paris university. They both met in their school library where a movie was playing. Mehdi had been invited to a party that evening but declined and headed to the library instead. After their first meeting, the two saw more of each other. Although Mehdi could play a bit of guitar and Solange was a classically trained musician, the two had not yet begun making music.

The Heads - Radio One
Bristol's Heads recorded 5 Radio sessions for Radio 1 between the years 1995 and 2000, thats 3 (three!!) for John Peel, and one each for the R1 Rock Show (when it was in Glasgow) and one for the Mark Radfliffe show.... some crafty sod's gone and put a wellington together of (wellington boot, geddit...) some of the best tracks from these sessions, Rooster (Heads label) nabbed them at source, and decided to make some sleeves up and let them out for RSD, theres 500, it sounds pretty amazing: well, really, its true.
MY REVIEW: Fucking shit. The true psychedelic UK underground masters have had a rough last couple of years. Sparse 3 piece gigs scattered around Europe, some eBay CDr releases in editions of 70 and 'Lost in Space' some random attempts at noise. BUT NO. This isn't rough, this is the TRUE GEM of them all. Side two is the lengthy jams, including a Neu! '75 cover. Side one is a mix of their more straight forward tracks which include unconscious lyrics and rip roar screeching guitar. If you ever felt psych-rock to be a cliche, ever-endless and recycled style, that philosophy stops now. -HRT
